My husband suffered from acid reflux and often woke up in the middle of the night with a burning sensation. I woke up and did not feel congested as I usually did when I woke up from a cold. I used the pillow for the next couple of days until the cold passed. I am quite happy with the results that my husband and I have found with the bed wedge pillow.
