Another benefit for short form DRTV advertisers is that once a customer makes a purchase they are happy with then they are more likely to engage in "word of mouth advertising" and this in turn will result in more sales. Not to mention, once a consumer has made a purchase they are happy with then they will be more likely to buy other products sold by the company in the future.
Since short form DRTV is more affordable to air than other types of commercials then companies of all sizes can advertise their products this way. That's a benefit that companies should keep in mind and take advantage of.
