My favorite subject is literature. Well maybe because I’m the type of boy who is introvert. A boy who loves to write fictional stories, poems and any other literary compositions and a boy who usually expresses what he feels through those things. Through my literature class, I am able to express myself and I feel that everything can flow through my imagination without any limitations.
In our literature class, we have different activities every week. We only not stay inside the classroom to lecture about Shakespeare’s novel or Edgar Allan Poe’s literary works. We have a weekly expedition going to different historical places, watch theater and musical plays, visit museums and other activities that has something to do with the past.
The most memorable activity that we had was when we went into a museum where they exhibited different kinds of antiques around the world. Everyone in our class was fascinated of every item which has their own historical value. Our teacher had seen our interests on antiques so she gave us a project in connection to that. She assigned us to find any kind of antique that might be still useful and worth collecting that we are going to sell in any way that we might think. Our class is divided into groups of 3, and we were given two weeks to do our project.
Our group had thought of a new and exciting way of selling antiques. We decided to develop an online antique mall with the help of my brother who is working in a web development company and we are able to sell antiques through the site. The shipping of antiques was also paid by the collectors but only for a very small amount. Our teacher gave us an “A” upon doing an excellent and creative way of selling our antique items. But the other groups also did give their best and did a good job on the project and they were also credited for that.
It was only then when I realize that aside from learning literature, I also enjoy doing such things that has something to do with it. And I say Literature is really my favorite subject.
