Jock Itch Treatment Provide Relief from Burning and Itching Sensation

Jock itch is a fungal infection that affects the moist skin on inner thighs and adjacent skin. This disease is associated with friction, abrasion, sweating and is mainly caused by the heat and moisture of the body clothes and by the direct rubbing of skin on skin. Jock itch is similar to nail fungus and ringworm infection and it is always better to prevent it from occuring or re-occuring. The jock itch treatment and prevention are also similar to ringworm and nail fungus treatment and prevention. Some of the ways that help to prevent jock itch are as follows:

Tight fitting clothes should be avoided and clothes made of cotton should be preferred.
Towels and wash clothes should not be shared.
The groin area should be completely dried after bathing before wearing the clothes.
Antifungal spray and powder must be used to prevent infection.
