In most European countries, there is a common custom to have lunch with the family. In Britain the rule changes slightly. In general, they eat their meals in their workplace or school or college. The reason for this routine is that their work places are located far from their homes. However, there is a change of schedule on Sunday. Sunday is a holiday. The British food is a conglomeration of English, Scottish and Welsh cuisine. Each of these has an individual taste of their own. Foods like Cheshire cheese, the Yorkshire pudding, Arbroath Smokie, and Welsh cakes enjoy popularity around the world.
