When walking, look straight ahead like you would in a standing stance and keep your head as well as eyes looking ahead in front. Never push your head forward or you will immediately create a hunch. Have your shoulders well positioned and aligned with your entire body while you walk. Those who suffer neck and back pain or have had injuries in any of these areas, should consider purchasing this item. Posture exercises can be done anytime and anywhere. You can do them once in the morning and perform some of these in your office too to reduce tension and stress in your muscles.

Start stretching by standing shoulder width apart and balance your weight. Relax your knees as you pull up through legs. Always focus to keep your hips leveled. In this way, the person suffering from posture disorder is protected against additional back pain or neck pain. This helps them in improving posture without hurting their body further. Posture exercises are not a treatment but a method to improve your posture and maintain it.

The desk and chair should fit an employee's body types. The chair should be comfortable, have arm rests and a back with good orthopedic support. When sitting in the chair, both feet should rest flat on the floor without putting pressure on the backs of the knees. Chair seats should not be so high that the employees feet are left hanging. In this case, use a small riser to keep the feet at a correct position if the seat cannot be adjusted lower.

Improving your posture is going to take some work especially with the habits of today's modern living, but in the long run will increase your chances of living a healthier and longer life. If the health of your nervous system is not your priority, you must be warned research has shown that erect posture has also been linked success in the business world and taking off a few years off your real age.
