Security at work may be perceived as the assurance of redemption from threat, harms and terrors in society. However in another perception it can go beyond that as it can be seemed an assurance of recovery from the main threats of life in its very basic sense or the prevention of them. Security at work also inclines more on the "employee benefits" aspect than any other facet of employment. However this is not enough to claim a general point of view on the matter as every job differs from each other in terms of its nature to its hazard implications. Specifically though, nursing profession is the profession that satisfies to be as a good example to this "security at work" that is being discussed here.

Nursing is generally known as one of the most critical and in demand profession all over the world and in the country. It is but normal for nurses to work in different shifts and in a very active environment. Summing up all the tasks a nurse in nursing uniform does, we can definitely say that they highly need this "security at work" thing.

And talking about security, there are hospitals in the US that can be considered as the most ideal hospitals to work at in terms of salary, working environment, perks, and other benefits. Here we specify the top hospitals in the country that we can say one of the best to work at. So regardless maybe of what nursing uniform one might wear, he or she can definitely find optimism on security in work.

So let’s have them:

We see some gold at Stanford Hospital and Clinics when it comes to their nurses’ benefits and perks. Stanford is running under the Stanford University’s watch. One of the major benefits a nurse can get from this hospital of 2,500 strong employees is the 11 paid holidays (including birthday) which essentially means 11 days you’re off of your nurse uniforms and you are into more time with family or self while still being paid. They also give their employees 3 weeks of paid vacation once they have already completed a year of employment. For those wanting to continue studying, say a specialization or a master’s degree, Stanford gives tuition assistance, subsidized training and free shuttle within the campus. What else could you ask more if your spouse and children are covered too with benefits? This too is given by Stanford: Health coverage and pre-school and child care in campus for kids.

When you are in Arkansas, try visiting Arkansas Children’s Hospital and see for yourself their wide range of perks and benefits offered to their employees including nurses in their nursing uniform. This 3,283-employee hospital also give out tuition assistance to those who seeks to continue their studies and a whole bunch of other perks like wellness program, 24-hours security, on-site child care, and shuttle service.

Fly down the country and you can choose the Methodist Hospital System as your next employer. Why so? With their 10,481 employees the administration can still manage to give their workers compressed workweek, job sharing scheme, tuition reimbursement, legal assistance, on-site perks like gyms and parking and educational assistance. And to top it all, they are generously giving scholarship for their employees children by the time the kids reach college.

Ohio Health, Mayo Clinic, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are also part of list. They are giving extended sick leaves, wellness perks, educational and health benefits among others to their employees too. Mayo Clinic, to add, has hospitals in three states from which you can choose from. You can find their hospitals in Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota. While Ohio Health is a celebrated hospital in Ohio named as the best place to work at this state and few other citations. And who would ever not know anything about Cedars-Sinai?

Needless to say, while you rush to finally wear your nursing scrubs in any hospital possible, it is indeed but an important thing to at least think of the security work can give you and your family.
