Althought each individual Yogurt Maker has its specific instructions for preparing this both healthy and tasty snack there are a few easy tips and tricks which if you follow will allow you to prepare a natural and perfect fresh yogurt every time.

Tip 1: not leave yogurt in the machine too long, the curd and liquid will separate and that can not be reversed.

Tip 2:Yogurt that is made with skim milk powder will probably have a soft consistency. If you would like to make thicker, creamier yogurt, add an additional 1/2 cup of milk powder to the mixture before heating.

Tip 3: Extended cooking times will produces a firmer and more tart yogurt.

Tip 4: Don't heat the milk for too long as the result will be poor in quality yogurt.

Tip 5: If you want to add flavoring, sweeteners ot fruit do it after processing and refrigeration.

Tip 6: Add a few table spoons of sugar to your milk mixture when boiling.

Tip 7: Organic milk makes the thickest yogurt in comparison to other milk types like powdered milk.

Tip 8: This one is really important!! Always use clean utensils.This includes your pots, yogurt maker container and other utensils that may come in contact with your mix.

Tip 9: Once you have placed the mixture in the yogurt maker, don't disturb it otherwise your batch might fail.

Tip 10: If your yogurt smells, tastes, or looks strange, don't eat it,just try to create another batch.

Those are some pretty basic yogurt tips but I'm sure that many of you will find those useful and I can also guarantee you that if just stick to the recipe and follow the instructions in this article you wont fail.
