In reality, cotton is one of the most pesticide-sprayed crops in the world, and very clear that our clothes too substantial ecological effect. People are becoming increasingly aware of the fitness and ecological impacts of personal care products. More sustainable, green options have being given by rising number of companies. However when you decide to go green, little is always more - going natural takes you one step close to Nature.
Furniture and décor
Many of people spend significant money on furniture. Certainly procuring hardwood from Amazon jungle is not an eco-friendly procedure, however one will wonder about the options. No mind, furniture made from sustainably harvested, recycled or salvaged materials are now obtainable.
Waste
Until now, waste was the main ecological problem. If you reuse it, you were green and if you didn't, you weren't. Now with several issues on the environmental front, matters are not easy. But waste still continues to be a major problem. Every article going to trash have consumed energy and resources in manufacturing and shipping; more energy and resources will be used-up in processing and throwing-away either through recycling or landfill. The green idea of 'Reduce - Reprocess - Recycle' assumes more significance. Also keep in mind that organic waste can be composted.
Clean home
Once you've put your home in order with organic fabrics and toxin-free furniture, it is not essential to use chemicals to keep the home clean. Usual household cleaning agents are laden with harmful chemicals; look for green, natural options which are equally good in cleaning your home.
